Union Market District’s “Rise & Thrive” Invites You to Wake Up on the Right Side of the Bed

April 16 – May 16 marks the launch of Rise & Thrive: a month-long series of activations specially curated to replenish your mind, body and soul.

Washington, DC — Springtime brings fresh opportunities for renewal; a long-awaited escape from virtual reality and an invitation to breathe in, breathe out and reconnect. To mark this moment, Union Market District announces Rise & Thrive, a month-long series of activations specially curated to replenish your mind, body and soul.

Generally defined as a lifestyle, health and wellness has been re-prioritized as fundamental to our daily lives. We want to feel better, stay healthy, take care of each other and come together safely in a welcoming environment.

We know that wellness is a personal journey, with no singular, universal definition. That’s why Rise & Thrive brings a variety of activations to support your well-being: wake-up with a sunrise Cut 7 class on The Rooftop at Union Market and grab an açai bowl from South Block. Tough day “at the office?” Dance it out with outdoor Zumba at La Cosecha with spiritless cocktails brought to you by Serenata and Seedlip Non-Alcoholic Spirits. Set your intentions for 2021 and beyond with a vision board workshop in collaboration with The Village Café DC, followed by a vegan pupusa, a new addition to La Casita’s menu at La Cosecha. Walk the DC Mural Tour to feel inspired and end at TheTwelve to become a new plant parent with the help of St. Plant’s workshop—the A-Z for your green thumb.

Can’t join us in person? Byrdland Records’ Rise & Thrive playlist on Spotify will help you wake up on the right side of the bed.
