Starting this Spring, New Murals and Events Celebrating Culture and Community Will Be Coming to RiNo

DENVER — EDENS announced today a lineup of new murals, events and activations coming to the RiNo Art District in 2024. These initiatives celebrate creativity and community engagement, enhance the neighborhood’s cultural vibrancy and provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talents.

Events and activations include Absolute Equality’s Juneteenth Mural Festival, with EDENS as the official community partner, which aims to foster neighborhood engagement, celebrate Juneteenth, promote public art and raise awareness about social justice and equality. Local Denver artist Detour will design and create the mural.

Absolute Equality’s Juneteenth Mural Festival will take place across four cities this year, including Denver. Other things to look forward to in the District are curated pop-up markets throughout spring, summer and fall and a Rolling Through RiNo block party, with food activations and a skate competition. The full calendar of events – taking place at Bird Lot (2532 Larimer St.), Lot on Larimer (west of Denver Central Market), Noble Riot and throughout RiNo – is below.
