Crofton Station Reaches Redevelopment Milestone and Announces New Openings

Crofton, MD– EDENS announced today the opening of the first of three new anchor retail partners at Crofton Station in Gambrills, MD. Several new businesses are set to open this year, including The Fresh Market, Michaels and Snap Fitness, further transforming this community shopping center into a dynamic and engaging retail hub.

Grand Opening of Michaels: August 17
The new series of openings kicks off with the grand opening of Michaels, the best place for all things creative, on Saturday, August 17. This new store is a sleeker, simpler Michaels featuring self-checkout registers, a Michaels Custom Framing center, and a curated selection of popular arts and crafts, all designed to inspire creativity in the community. The grand opening celebration will include giveaways, free crafts, local food favorites, and more fun, from 9am to 2pm.

Opening this Fall
Crofton Station is welcoming several additional retail partners:

  • The Fresh Market – Specialty grocer with something to please every palate.
  • Snap Fitness – Providing 24/7 access to a 11,257 square-foot, state-of-the-art gym facility.
  • Always Ice Cream – Award-winning, locally made ice cream, shakes, ice cream cakes, classic treats and more.
  • Legion Martial Arts – Offering classes for all ages, promoting fitness, discipline and self-defense skills in a supportive environment.

These new additions, plus recent openings of Nekter Juice Bar, Taichi Bubble Tea, Amazing Lash Studio, Sugaring NYC and Chase Bank, are part of EDENS’ commitment to creating vibrant and welcoming community places.
