Month-Long Series of Fitness and Wellness Activations Includes Something for Everyone Looking to Replenish Mind, Body and Soul

March 24, 2022 – Washington, DC — With a new season comes fresh opportunities for rejuvenation, renewal, and for unforgettable moments—an open invitation to breathe in, breathe out, relax and reconnect. Inspired by the success and popularity of last year’s events, Rise + Thrive returns to Union Market District on Friday, April 1, for a full month of programming focused on health, fitness and wellness.

Now, more than ever, as people rebuild social trust, consumers are looking for welcoming spaces that encourage human connection, discovery and play. Rise + Thrive is a community engagement program initiated by EDENS in partnership with our retailers that provides an entry point for exploring ways to feel better at a pace that is accessible to most people.

Throughout the month of April, Union Market District will play host to a variety of activations to support well-being: wake-up with a fitness class on The Rooftop or yoga at La Cosecha. Tough day at work? Tango or Zumba it out. Take care, spread good vibes, eat and drink healthily and support local artists and makers.
