The Oakland-based company is dedicated to the simple purpose of getting delicious coffee to anyone who asks for it. Blue Bottle will open in Union Market with a 5,000-square-foot cafe and training center, at the corner of Morse and 4th Street NE. The cafe is scheduled to open in late-Spring 2017. The Union Market location will be the first Blue Bottle Coffee to open in D.C. The spacious location will span two floors and include a public cafe, training lab, classrooms, and offices. It will serve as a central hub for nearby Blue Bottle cafes that are scheduled to open later that year. The company is excited to bring its expertly sourced coffees to the neighborhood.
