HIGHLIGHTS:

“Festejamos el arte de los Sordos” | Balcon (inside La Cosecha) | October 1–30

In its first-ever collaboration, Gallaudet University and La Cosecha partner to provide a Deaf experience through art. Curated by Leticia Arellano, an ASL evaluator, trainer and mentor, this exhibition features works by Deaf artists from Latin American countries.

TECHO Day | October 15

Join us during TECHO DAY, on Saturday, October 15, as we celebrate the contributions of Hispanic Americans to our history, achievements and culture.

In Latin American countries, one in every three people live in poverty. A portion of every purchase at La Cosecha, year-round, supports the work of EDENS’ La Cosecha Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission to support social, cultural and economic prosperity. The Foundation’s primary beneficiary is TECHO, a youth-led nonprofit actively working in more than 550 informal settlements across 18 Latin American and Caribbean countries to create a just society without poverty. TECHO has transformed thousands of families’ lives and has seen firsthand that every donation can change a story.

“Cusqueñita” | New Mural by Roberto Seminario | La Cosecha

The city of Cuzco is embodied by this girl in traditional clothes, worn with pride for her roots. A metallic circle represents the gold of Incan ancestors and beyond, set against a background inspired by the Mountain of Seven Colors. A generous gift from the Embassy of Peru, Cusqueñita is the culmination of a live painting event during celebrations of the 201st anniversary of Peruvian independence. Roberto Seminario, aka “Sef,” grew up in Peru’s historic Pueblo-Libre district where he started as a graffiti artist.
