EDENS Continues to Expand Retail as Atherton Vision Comes to Life

Charlotte, NC – February 27, 2019 — EDENS, a leading national retail real estate owner, operator and developer, brings two new retailers to Atherton, further establishing it as a top Charlotte destination. The two retailers join the 60,500 square feet of retail currently being developed along with the existing 50,000 square feet of shops and restaurants. EDENS residential partner, Crescent Communities, brings 346 uniquely styled apartment homes with Novel Atherton to create a mixed-use destination.

The vibrant collection of Atherton retail and apartments are set to open summer 2019. Joining the previously announced retailers are:

Drybar: With its second location in Charlotte, Drybar is the nation’s premier blow dry bar specializing in blowouts and a growing product line.

The Golden Carrot: Established in 2015 in New Jersey by now Charlotte resident Nicole Corriher, The Golden Carrot is a destination for jewelry enthusiasts with a curated selection of fine jewelry and unique treasures, handmade by independent designers.

These new retailers join Atherton’s summer openings, which include CAVA, Indaco, Las Olas, PAINT Nail Bar, The Eagle Food & Beer Hall, and West Elm, along with current offerings Warby Parker, Not Just Coffee, Anthropologie, O-Ku, Free People, Alton Lane, Atherton Market, Big Ben British Restaurant & Pub, Bookout Blooms, Brideside, Living Kitchen, Savory Spice Shop, Sola Salon Studios, and Vin Master.
