Jessica Bruner

Managing Director

As Managing Director, Jessica Bruner is responsible for leading the Mid-Atlantic region’s leasing across 45 centers, totaling 3.5 million square feet valued at $1.8 billion. Her strong reputation for relationship building in the industry and her innovative approach to merchandising have been crucial to EDENS’ successful redevelopment activity in the Mid-Atlantic market.

Bruner has been a key contributor to EDENS’ strategic growth plans in this active region since 2002. Her impact can be seen at major centers, from Mosaic, where she positioned it as one of the premiere open-air centers with 500,000 square feet of first class retail, to Union Market District, where she was integral to establishing La Cosecha’s identity as a Latin American epicenter and landing national and renowned brands to enhance Union Market District’s dynamic landscape. Her other notable accomplishments include Shops at Stonefield in Charlottesville, VA, where she merchandised the place with all first-to-market retailers, Cabin John Village, a redeveloped open-air center upgraded with 230,000 square feet of premiere retail in Potomac, MD, and in Houston, TX at Uptown Park, where she spearheaded the repositioning and redevelopment of its retail mix.

Prior to her role at Managing Director, Bruner was Vice President – Leasing at EDENS. Before joining EDENS, she was a leasing representative with Carl M. Freeman Retail.

Bruner is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she received a bachelor’s in government and politics. In 2010, she completed Harvard Business Schools’ Executive Education Management Program.
