Alexander Ragonese

Vice President - Development

Alexander Ragonese, Vice President – Development, is based in Washington, D.C. Alex has an extensive retail real estate background having played an integral role in the recent launch of two major grocery chains.

Prior to joining EDENS, Alex served as Amazon’s Real Estate Lead for the East Coast responsible for site selection and leasing from Miami to Boston. Alex built Amazon Fresh’s real estate strategy from the ground up, developing and implementing a multi-state expansion plan enabling the ecommerce company to bring its customer obsessed mindset to the bricks and mortar retail world.

Alex also held leadership positions at German-based grocer Lidl during their initial US expansion. Alex managed all aspects of the real estate portfolio from identification through development and store opening.

A native of Newburyport, MA, Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wake Forest University.
