DALLAS, Jan. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Preston Royal Village, the historic Dallas shopping center owned by EDENS, is excited to announce they will soon welcome popular culinary retailer Sur La Table.

The shop – with more than 130 locations across the country – will elevate the unique retail mix of the center, while exemplifying the same personalized customer service that Preston Royal shoppers have experienced there for nearly 60 years.

“Sur La Table is truly dedicated to their customers, and that fits in with the feel of Preston Royal,” explains EDENS Managing Director Tom Kiler. “This is a big step in the ongoing redevelopment of Preston Royal, complementing the center’s forward momentum and reflecting the surrounding community. Attention to detail is important to EDENS, and the changes here – from the updated sidewalks and freshly designed storefronts to new retail like Sur La Table demonstrate that.”

With a summer 2017 anticipated opening, the store will offer a wide selection of cookware from essential basics to hard-to-find specialty tools. In addition, the store will also feature a professional teaching kitchen that will offer an assortment of cooking classes where the beginner or the seasoned cook can discover new techniques, tips and delicious recipes in a fun, hands-on environment.

“We are thrilled to open another Sur La Table store in Dallas, bringing more jobs to the community and satisfying the needs of neighbors who share our passion for cooking,” says Diane Neal, CEO of Sur La Table. “Area residents will now be able to discover our unparalleled selection of exclusive and premium-quality goods for the kitchen and dining table and experience first-hand the passion of our lauded culinary program. As one of the largest avocational cooking programs nationwide, we will be offering a diverse and exciting schedule of hands-on cooking classes, led by classically trained chefs.”
